Poland Plans to End Roaming Charges for Ukrainians
This year Ukraine celebrates the 10th anniversary of the Eastern Partnership with Poland
As part of the EU Eastern Partnership program, Poland intends to abolish cell phone roaming charges for Ukrainian citizens.
This was announced in an interview with PAP by the Deputy Foreign Minister of Poland for Eastern Affairs, Marcin Pshidach.
Pshidach said that as part of the 10th anniversary of the Eastern Partnership, Poland would propose the establishment of a rotating chairmanship in the partnership and the intensification of sectoral cooperation, including abolishing roaming fees for citizens of the neighboring countries.
Pshidach said that ordinary people, in particular, Ukrainians living in Poland, would benefit from the cancelation of roaming charges.
