95 Percent of Vote Tallied Confirming Zelenskyi Win
73.17 percent of voters supported comic Volodymyr Zelenskyi while 24.50 percent cast their votes for the incumbent, President Petro Poroshenko
The Central Election Commission of Ukraine has processed 95.21 percent of the vote count in the second round of Ukraine’s presidential elections.
It found that 73.1 percent of voters supported comic Volodymyr Zelenskyi while 24.50 percent cast their votes for the 6incumbent, President Petro Poroshenko.
As shown above, in the green color, Zelenskyi won in all Ukrainian regions except for the Lviv region (in red), where Poroshenko got 63.09 percent of the vote.
At the same time, 2.32 percent of the ballots were declared invalid.
In total, 199 territorial electoral districts and one overseas electoral district, as well as about 30,000 precinct election commissions, were formed and 101 polling stations operated abroad on Sunday.
According to the National Exit Poll conducted by the Ilko Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation, Zelenskyi got 73 percent of the vote and Poroshenko 25.5 percent.
The voter turnout was 62.07 percent.
