99.64 Percent of Votes Counted

Showman Volodymyr Zelenskyi won the election Sunday with approximately 73 percent of the vote

Ukraine’s Central Election Commission has now processed over 99.64 percent of votes.

The results tell essentially the same story as the exit polls had told at about 6 p.m. Sunday. Approximately  73.22 percent of voters supported comic Volodymyr Zelenskyi to 24.46 percent of Ukrainians who cast their votes for incumbent President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.

A total of 199 territorial electoral districts and one overseas electoral district, as well as about 30,000 precinct election commissions, were formed. Abroad, there were 101 polling stations.

Voter turnout was 62.07 percent.
