Bekirov Prosecutor Charged With Treason
Dilyara Ametova is the one who prepared and brought charges against Ukrainian political prisoner Edem Bekirov
Prosecutor Dilyara Ametova, working in the Russian-controlled court in Crimea is suspected of treason, The Prosecutor’s Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea reported in its Telegram-channel.
Dilyara Ametova is the one who prepared and brought charges against Ukrainian political prisoner Edem Bekirov.
“The Prosecutor’s Office of Crimea suspects Dilyara Ametova of treason (Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) and her involvement in the unlawful persecution of Edem Bekirov is additional evidence to it,” the statement says.
Earlier, we reported that a Russian-controlled court in Crimea ordered an extension for the illegally detained political prisoner Bekirov. The daughter of the political prisoner, Eleonora Bekirova, called on the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky to make all diplomatic efforts for her father’s release.
