Border Guards Increase Security Measures Near Crimea
An increase in the border guards job positions is planned in order to accelerate the entry-exit operations at the checkpoints at the time of elections.

Border guards of the Kherson region are increasing security measures along the administrative border with occupied Crimea for the period of the election process, the regional department of the State Border Service of Ukraine reported on Facebook.
“Border guards will increase security measures in the administration of the border with the temporarily occupied territory of the Crimea for the period of the elections,” the post said.
No changes are expected in the order of the border crossing. According to the legislative framework, entrance to the temporarily occupied territories of the Crimean Autonomous Republic, as well as the exit, is allowed only through the Kalanchak, Chaplynka, and Chongar checkpoints.
