Boryspil Airport Use Continues to Rise
This month there were approximately 1.4 million more passengers than the same time last year
Last month, some 1.4 million passengers used Boryspil Airport.
That’s a 20.5 percent jump over the same month last year, avianews.com reported.
Out of these, approximately 1.2 million passengers flew internationally, representing a 21.3 percent jump, the number of domestic passengers jumped by 11.2 percent, respectively.
According to airport employees, the total number of flights served in May increased by 14.7 percent compared to the same period last year. Of these, 8,735 were international flights and 1,208 were domestic.
Boryspil’s passenger traffic in the first five months of this year grew by 18.1 percent, about 5.2 million people.
