Catherine Deneuve to Attend 10th Odesa International Film Festival
The French icon will be presented with an honorary award for her cinematic achievements

Legendary French actress, two time winner of the Cesar Award for Best Actress, Catherine Deneuve will be a special guest of the 10th Odesa International Film Festival to be held from July 12, 2019 to July 20, 2019.
“The actress will receive an honorary Award of OIFF – “Golden Duke” for her contribution to the cinema. Also, during the festival, the audience will be presented a mini-retrospective of three films, classic and more recent, starring Catherine Deneuve,” the press service of the Odesa International Film Festival reports.
An icon of French cinema, Catherine Deneuve, has starred in more than a hundred films. Her first major success was the musical “The Umbrellas of Cherbourg” (1964) by Jacques Demy. The film received the Golden Palm at the Cannes Film Festival in 1964. The film drew attention from Hollywood with “The Umbrellas of Cherbourg” receiving four Oscar nominations.
At the Odesa International Film Festival, Catherine Deneuve will personally present a mini-retrospective of her films and will hold a master class.
