Ukrainian Ombudswoman Lyudmyla Denisova announced the start of the meeting with relatives of 24 Ukrainian sailors detained by Russia in the Kerch Strait on Facebook.
“Surely relatives have many questions. And it would be better them to get answers by persons involved in the process of release”, Denisova said.
According to Denisova, officials involved in process of the release of seamen are present in the meeting, as well as Meijlis representatives Mustafa Dzhemilev and Akhtem Chiygoz.
Denisova arrived in Odesa to “talk about the work that has already been done, and efforts, which, in their opinion, still need to be applied to speed up the process of returning our children home”, wrote Denisova before the departure to Odesa.
