Disengagement of Forces Completed in Bohdanivka and Petrivske
Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation Headquarters reported that the active phase of the separation of forces was completed according to schedule
The disengagement of forces has been completed in the area of Bohdanivka and Petrivske localities in Donetsk region today (Nov. 11).
“The OSCE SMM is currently verifying the activities carried out. According to the schedule, mine clearance on the territory should start tomorrow,” the press center of Ukraine’s Joint Forces Operation (JFO) Headquarters.
The disengagement was happening in a reciprocal manner on the side of the Russian-occupation forces.
The Ukrainian military and Russian-occupation troops started to withdraw forces and hardware near villages Bohdanivka and Petrivske in the Donetsk region at 12 p.m. on Saturday (Nov. 9).
The disengagement of troops in this area, originally scheduled for Nov. 4, was postponed due to attacks on Ukrainian soldiers which had been recorded on Oct. 30.
The Ukrainian side announced its readiness to start disengagement at 12 p.m., Nov. 8. At the same time, Russian-occupation troops announced that they would start disengagement on their side on Nov. 9.
