Foreign Ministry is looking for alternative markets for businesses, which suffered from Belarusian sanctions
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Senik took part in a meeting of the Export and Investment Support Committee of the Kyiv Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He assured the entrepreneurs in the full support on the part of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.
The diplomat invited business representatives to contact the Council of Exporters and Investors under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to support the entry of domestic goods and services to foreign markets, attract investment to Ukraine and develop tourism.
Senik also called on representatives of the Ukrainian business community to provide the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with an assessment of the quality of the work of foreign diplomatic institutions of Ukraine.
During the meeting, business and government representatives discussed the practice of applying restrictive measures by Belarus.
Dmytro Senik reminded the participants of the initiative of Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba that any Ukrainian company that suffers from Belarusian sanctions should immediately apply to the Foreign Ministry. Efforts will be made together with the Ministry of Economy to find alternative markets for the sale of goods.
Earlier, Belarus introduced an individual licensing regime for the import of a number of goods from Ukraine.
