Estonia Doesn’t Recognize ‘Local Elections’ in Occupied Crimea
Earlier, the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs also condemned the elections
Estonia does not recognize local elections administered by Russian occupation authorities in Crimea.
“Estonia does not recognize today’s (Sep. 8) elections held in Crimea and Sevastopol illegally annexed by Russia,” Estonian Foreign Minister Urmas Reinsalu wrote on his Twitter account.
Estonia supports the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, Reinsalu wrote.
Earlier, Ukraine also condemned the elections.
“Russian local elections in occupied Crimea are fake by default,” Ukrainian Foreign Affairs Minister Vadym Prystaiko said.
