European Union’s Mission on Digital Single Market to Start Work in Ukraine
The mission's goal is to assess the readiness of Ukraine to integrate into the EU Digital Single Market

An evaluation mission of the European Union on Ukraine’s readiness to integrate into the EU’s digital single market has been started its work in Ukraine.
The Office of the President of Ukraine hosted a meeting of the Head of State Advisor Mikhailo Fedorov with the European Union Evaluation Mission with the participation of DG Connect representatives of the European Commission. The mission’s goal is to assess the readiness of Ukraine’s telecommunications sector to integrate with the EU Digital Single Market (DSM),” presidential press-service reported.
Mykhailo Fedorov said that “we want and we are ready to quickly fulfill all the conditions to become part of the EU initiative to create a DSM. For Ukraine, these are powerful digital and economic prospects.”
Particular attention was paid to data protection, privacy, and cybersecurity, including the issue of Internet governance.
