Floral Exhibition in Kyiv

Zeus, Aphrodite and the golden fleece. These are some of the Greek myths depicted in a new floral exhibition in Kyiv

The “Floral Hellas” exhibition has opened in Kyiv. It includes 17 floral compositions with sculptures representing ancient Greek gods and myths.

Craftsmen used more than 150,000 flowers to build them. “Floral Hellas” entered Ukraine’s National Book of Records for the largest number of flower installations of ancient Greek themes. The exhibition will run until July 28.

“It took two weeks to plant the flowers and create this composition. We spent half a year developing the project and creating the layout. We prepare each exhibition far in advance and are studying the wishes of Kyiv residents to choose the theme for the next exhibition. We recruit as many staff as possible. Twenty to 30 employees work on each exposition so that everyone can experience this beauty,” Dmytro Zaruba, the acting director general of the KyivZelenbud Municipal Company said.
