Four Ukrainian have ranked in the top 100 of the Women’s Tennis Association.
Ukrainian sensation, Elina Svitolina, with 5,350 points is ranked fourth in the world. Having just come away from the WTA Final Tournament in Singapore with one of the greatest victories of her career – by prize money, she’s also the fifth highest paid woman tennis player of 2018.
Meanwhile, with 1,755, Ukrainian Lesya Tsurenko takes 27th place in the world, Diana Yastremskaya is in the 60th place with 967 points and Ekaterina Kozlova has returned to a spot on the top 100 list for the first time since late August.
Sixteen-year-old Marta Kostyuk also improved her personal record – rising up to 118th place in the ranking with 493 points. Darya Lopatetskaya entered the top 500. The 15-year-old Ukrainian jumped up 58 positions to take 465th place with 73 points.
In total, 13 Ukrainian women are in the top 500 ranking of the WTA.
