12.5 Billion Cubic Meters of Natural Gas Reserves

Over the last week, Ukraine reduced gas reserves in underground storage facilities by 628 million cubic meters to 12.5 billion cubic meters.
As of Jan. 16, Ukraine’s underground storage facilities had 12.5 billion cubic meters of natural gas. Ukraine consumed 4.7 billion cubic meters of gas since the beginning of the current 2018-2019 heating season, the press service of Naftogaz of Ukraine reported.
Ukraine started the 2018-2019 heating season with a reserve of 17.2 billion cubic meters of gas. The gas was pumped from Slovakia, Hungary, and Poland.
