German Minister: Germany Will Continue to Assit Ukraine in Implementing Reforms

The German finance minister assured that Germany would continue to to assist Ukraine in implementing key reforms.
On April 20, Ukrainian finance minister, Oleksandr Danylyuk, met with Olaf Scholz, the German finance minister, in Washington D.C. The two met at the Spring Meeting of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank Group.
The ministers discussed the results of reforms that have been carried out in Ukraine over the last four years, the state of cooperation with the IMF and deepening of cooperation between Ukraine and Germany, the press service of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine reported.
They also discussed Germany’s support in launching the European Union’s fourth macrofinancial assistance program and the implementation of German technical assistance projects in Ukraine.
Danylyuk thanked Scholz for Germany’s long-term support of Ukraine and the provision of expert and technical assistance in the implementation of reforms.
