Holy Synod Supports Epiphanius

All members of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church Holy Synod supported Epiphanius in his role as primate today.
The decision was made with all members present at a meeting at Epiphanius’ home in Kyiv, a church press-release wrote.
It was determined that the registration of the eparchy statutes should be completed within a month. Also, the registration of a new edition of monastery statutes and religious educational institution statutes has begun.
From now on, all foreign visits of church hierarchs should be carried out only with the blessing of the primate Epiphanius.
Also, the Holy Synod celebrated the 30th anniversary of the revival of the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church.
It was decided that the name of Metropolitan Epiphanius and the ruling bishop of the eparchy should be elevated in all temples.
