IMF Mission Arrives in Kyiv
The IMF program will discuss plans for a new program at the end of the year
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission arrived in Ukraine today (Sep. 11).
“It is too early to talk about the results. The mission has just arrived in Ukraine. We are starting negotiations, and they will continue until Sep. 24. We want our colleagues from the IMF to leave Kyiv with a preliminary agreement at the technical level to launch a new program at the end of the year. This task will be completed,” Prime Minister Alexei Goncharuk said.
He said that problematic issues, including those related to PrivatBank, will not be a stumbling block to negotiations with the IMF.
