Three-time world champion, Jorge Linares, wants a rematch against Ukrainian boxer, Vasiliy Lomachenko, the Boxing Scene reports.

To fight against Lomachenko, Linares is ready to come down to 135 pounds.

“I would like the second fight with Lomachenko because I know I can beat him, I did what no other fighter could (knock him down), and only for that fight would I go to 135 pounds,” Linares said.

In May 2018, Lomachenko managed to knock out the Venezuelan Linares in the 10th round at Madison Sqaure Garden in New York.

However, Lomachenko said that this match was one of the most difficult in his career. He suffered his first ever knockdown in the sixth round and an injury during the second round, but he was able to eventually win the lightweight championship.
