Lobanovskyi of Dynamo, 3rd Most Awarded Football Coach

The coach of Kyiv’s Dynamo football club, Valeriy Lobanovskyi, ranked third in football history of the most titled coaches.

With Dynamo, Lobanovskyi won 30 trophies, according to Goal.com.

The ex-coach of Shakhtar, Mircea Lucescu, is in second place with 32 trophies.

Lobanovskyi was born on Jan 6, 1939 in Kyiv. He began his career as a Dynamo Kyiv player, where he played from 1957 to 1964. With Dynamo, he won both the USSR league and cup. Lobanovskyi ended his playing career at the age of 29, having scored 71 goals in 257 games.
