Luxembourg Giving $565K for Humanitarian Projects

Luxembourg will provide $565,000 for humanitarian projects in Ukraine.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Luxembourg Jean Asselborn announced financial assistance, Interfax reported.
“We have already provided €2.5 million, now we are preparing for new assistance in the amount of €500,000 ($565,000). It is provided through UNICEF and the Red Cross. We are focusing on humanitarian issues, education, child protection, housing, and provision for those who find themselves in difficult social circumstances,” Asselborn said at today’s press conference in Kyiv.
Asselborn also called on Russia to respect human rights and called for the release of Ukrainian hostages, political prisoners, and prisoners of war held in Russia.
