Today, activists in Lviv held a rally in support of the Ukrainian sailors captured by Russia. The rally was called “Remember the Sailors: Half-Year In Captivity”, Galinfo reported.
Participants brought Ukrainian Naval flags and paper boats. They also held portraits of the captive sailors.
“We are here to show – we have not forgotten, we remember the sailors. In violation of all the laws, Russia has been holding them for 182 days. We can’t forgive that our seamen are held as regular prisoners, not prisoners of war, without proper conditions,” one of the rally organizers said.
Activists called on the international community to strengthen sanctions against Russia.
