Marchenko Wins Two Championships at Nur-Sultan Challenger

Ukrainian tennis player Illya Marchenko won both the singles and doubles championships at the ATP Nur-Sultan Challenger Tournament in Kazakhstan, tennisua.org reported.
Ahead of the winning final round against German player Yannick Maden in singles on October 6, 2019 (4:6, 6:4, 6:3), he topped the doubles tournament on October 5th. With his partner, Harri Heliövaara, they defeated Polish pair Szymon Walkow and Karol Drzewiecki (6:4, 6:4).
According to the article, Marchenko has won his first Challenger since his victory in Izmir, Turkey in 2017. The last time Marchenko won both singles and doubles at the same tournament was in 2014 in Brescia, Italy.
The current victory brings Marchenko to the top 300 ranked tennis players.
