Merkel, Macron to Report to the EU on Minsk Agreements
The EU will hold a summit on December 12th and Ukraine will be one of the topics on the agenda

On December 12, 2019, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macron will deliver a report at the EU summit on the implementation of the Minsk agreements, Ukrainian news outlet Yevropeiska Pravda (European Truth) reports.
“The first day will conclude with a debrief on the implementation of the Minsk Agreement along with short conclusions on WTO, Africa, and Turkey,” the invitation letter from President Charles Michel to the members of the European Council ahead of the meetings on December 12 and 13 states.
According to European Truth, Merkel and Macron have traditionally talked about reinforcing economic sanctions against Russia. The political decision to extend the EU Russia-related sanctions for another six months has been reported by Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty reporter Rikard Jozwiak on Twitter.
