Today’s scheduled disengagement in the frontline areas of Petrivske and Bohdanivka was suspended to Saturday (Nov. 9), noon.

“The Trilateral Contact Group, with the participation of representatives of certain areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine, agreed on the date and time of the start of the renewed withdrawal of forces and hardware from the disengagement area of Petrivske,” OSCE representative in the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) Ambassador Martin Sajdik stated today (Nov. 8).

“We inspected part of the front in the Petrivske area. They were preparing to pull out troops there today (Nov. 8), now tomorrow. Everything is fine there. We talked to people in Zolote. They are very happy that the shootings ceased. And they say they feel safe. Since they are protected by the National Guard and the police, we have seen it (that they’re safe),” German Ambassador Anka Feldhusen said today.

The German ambassador along with ambassadors from the United Kingdom, United States, and France, together with Ukrainian officials inspected the area near Petrivske on Thursday (Nov. 7).

Ukrainian troops had been ready to withdraw troops from the contact line in the area of disengagement #3 Petrivske-Bohdanivka at noon today, Ukraine’s Joint Forces Operation press center stated.
