A delegation of NATO military personnel are taking part in training at the Center for non-commissioned officers just outside of Kyiv.

NATO allies have pledged nearly $44 million for funds to set up and support Ukraine in areas such as command and control, cyber defense and medical rehabilitation.

“The Minsk Agreements are the only path to peace but words on paper have to be translated into verifiable action on the ground. In order to have a critical and lasting ceasefire, it is essential for Russia to cease its support for the separatists. Weapons withdrawal, disengagement, and demining are critical as is unrestricted access for the OSCE up to the Russian/Ukrainian border,” Martin Cartier of the Canadian Armed Forces said at the training.
