Occupation Authorities to Start Forced-Labor
Able-bodied adults, men aged 18-60 and women aged 18-55, are being transcripted
Forced labor for civilians was set in a resolution by the occupation authorities of the “Luhansk People’s Republic” (LPR).
The resolution was adopted on Tuesday. Civilians will be transcripted “for the needs of defense, liquidation of the consequences of the use of weapons by the enemy, restoration of damaged economic objects, and life-support systems.”
The resolution said that able-bodied adults, men between 18-60 and women between 18-55, are to be transcripted for defense.
According to the resolution, civilians are obliged to arrive at specified places by appointed times to comply with the requirements.
The occupation authorities promised free food and financial compensation.
