One Ukrainian Soldier Wounded by Russian-backed Militants in Donbas
One militant was killed and one wounded by Ukrainian defenders
One Ukrainian soldier was wounded in shelling on Monday when Russian-backed militants attacked Ukrainian positions in Donbas 12 times.
According to Ukrainian intelligence, one militant was killed and one wounded by Ukrainian defenders.
The militants used weapons banned under the Minsk agreements eight times.
In the eastern section of the conflict zone, militants fired with 82mm and 120mm near Hnutove, 120mm mortars, heavy machine guns and small arms outside Pisky, 82mm mortars, automatic grenade launchers, tripod-mounted man-portable antitank guns, and heavy machine guns and small arms in the area of Pavlopol, Ukraine’s JFO (Joint Forces Operation) Headquarters press center said.
In the northern section of the conflict zone, militants used 82mm mortars to shell Ukrainian positions near Novotoshkivske and Krymske, along with grenade launchers of different systems, heavy machine guns and small arms near Vilne.
Ukraine continues to adhere to the ceasefire agreement, firing only when fired upon.
