Pavlo Hryb’s Mother Given Permission to Visit
Mariya Hryb will see her son on Nov. 26

Mariya Hryb, the mother of Ukrainian political prisoner, Pavlo Hryb, who is being illegally detained in Russia, has been given permission to visit her son, said Ihor Hryb, Pavlo Hryb’s father, Hromadske reports.
Mariya Hryb will see her son on Nov. 26. This will be her second visit in the last 15 months.
Mariya Hryb was present at the court hearing which took place yesterday, Nov. 15, in Russia. She is going to return to Ukraine, and then will go back to the detention center where Pavlo Hryb is being held.
According to Mariya Hryb, her son looked “ashy, looked bad” during the hearing.
Pavlo Hryb went missing on August 24, 2017, in Belarus. He went to see a girl he met online and did not return home. In September, it became known that he was being held in a Krasnodar detention center in southern Russia. Russian authorities accuse Hryb of terrorism.
On Nov. 7, the Russian court extended Pavlo Hryb’s arrest for another six months.
