Pensions for 2.5 Million Ukrainians Rise Over ₴1,000
Current adjustment of pension payments is connected with the increase in price index after inflation

Pensions for more than 10 million Ukrainians have been raised to the average amount of ₴514, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Rozenko said during a conference call with the Cabinet of Ministers, Government Portal reported.
“Recall that the Government has decided that the increase in pensions cannot be less than ₴100,” he said.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, 2.5 million people will get a raise in the amount from ₴100 to ₴400, more than 1.5 million will be additionally paid by the sum from ₴400 to ₴700, and almost 500 thousand people will get an increase from ₴700 to ₴1000.
“And, especially, 2.5 million Ukrainians got more than ₴1000 increase. I emphasize that this is an increase to the monthly pension,” Rozenko said.
He also recalled that about 2.1 million pensioners who have a great working record, but a pension less than ₴1,700 will receive an additional one-time payment in the amount of ₴2,410.
“This amount will be paid in two tranches – ₴1,205 on March 1 and ₴1,205 on April 1,” Rozenko added.
