Aggravation in Donbas will be discussed by the President at a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine
On April 15, a regular meeting of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) will be held under the chairmanship of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. This is reported by UATV with reference to the Office of the President.
During the meeting the issue of the aggravation of the situation in Donbas, as well as the economy situation in connection with the stopping of a number of corruption schemes, will be considered.
The issue of aggravation in Donbas will be conpltely in secret.
“Ukraine understands all the existing risks, calculates any options for the development of events, has relevant information in all areas, constantly correlates its positions with partners,” the message says.
In addition, members of the National Security Council will consider a second expanded package of personal sanctions against organizers and perpetrators of smuggling schemes.
“Smuggling, which has become alarming over the decades, significantly undermines our economic security and requires urgent solutions. In addition to specialized anti-smuggling solutions, broader issues related to the economic security of the state will be discussed at the meeting”, the President’s Office.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy put into effect the decision of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of April 2 on the introduction of personal sanctions against top smugglers in Ukraine and related companies.
