Biden will discuss the Nord Stream 2 and its implications for Ukraine with Merkel – White House
During a meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, the American delegation headed by US President Joe Biden plans to discuss the issue of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline and its consequences for Europe and Ukraine.
According to the White House press service, Jake Sullivan, the US President’s National Security Adviser, said this during a conversation with journalists, Ukrinform reports.
The adviser to the US president noted that he wouldn’t like to announce details of the negotiation process with German chancellor, however, according to him, Berlin “understands the concern” of the United States.
“We want to talk about the implications this pipeline will have for energy security in Europe, as well as for Ukraine”, – Sullivan said.
