NSDC Secretary explained who is likely to be included into the sanction lists
No random person could be included into the sanctions lists prepared by the national Security and defense Council of Ukraine. Each person is being thoroughly checked. This was stated by secretary of the NSDC Oleksii Danilov after the Council’s meeting on June 4, UATV correspondent informs.
According to Danilov, recently the media have started telling that the lists are including those who participated in the warfare and have corresponding certificates.
“The media have even published the names. No random person could be included into any sanctions list. All those lists are being checked and verified in advance. Moreover, they are being verified not only in Ukraine, but in other states as well. All those, included into the lists, have committed this or that crime. If we are talking about those 3-4 persons – those are criminals who robbed a jewelry store in Kyiv and murdered a security guard. One of them is now detained, two others are facing criminal investigation”, – Danilov said.
To remind, earlier, Oleksii Danilov said that Ukraine has officially addressedthe United States with the request to provide the information on sanctions imposed against citizens of Ukraine. The same request is planned to be sent to the European partners. After the information is obtained, the decision will be made concerning each citizen.
