The United States may impose new sanctions in response to Russia’s behavior – Blinken
The USA is seeking a predictable relationship with the Kremlin. However, in response to Russia’s aggressive behavior, new sanctions will be imposed. This was stated by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, UA informs.
Blinken recalled that the current administration has already demonstrated a reaction in the form of sanctions: in particular, for attempts to interfere with the elections, cyber-attacks, and an attempt to poison the Russian opposition figure Alexei Navalny.
“We would like a stable and predictable relationship with Russia. We have areas in which we can work together, which are in our common interests. But if Russia decides to resort to aggressive actions, we will respond. Not with the task of a conflict or escalation, we will defend our interests and values” – Blinken summed up.
Earlier the US Secretary of State said that Russia poses a threat to the entire Europe.
