Russia-Led Forces Attack Ukrainian Troops with Banned Mortars
Russian hybrid forces attacked Ukrainian positions in Donbas eight times on Tuesday
Russian-led violated the ceasefire eight times, using weapons banned under the Minsk agreements three times in Donbas on Tuesday (July 16).
“The enemy fired 120 mm and 82 mm mortars, grenade launchers of different systems, antitank missile systems, heavy machine guns, and small arms on the units of the Joint Forces,” Ukraine’s Joint Forces Operation Headquarters stated.
In the eastern conflict zone, Russian-led forces launched six attacks on Ukrainian positions. They attacked near Opytne, Novotroitske, Lebedynske, Verkhniotoretske, Krasnohorivka, and Mykolaivka.
In the northern conflict zone, Russian-led forces attacked Ukrainian troops near Krymske and Novoluhanske.
In today’s early hours (July 17), the Russian hybrid forces launched three attacks on Ukrainian troops in the eastern conflict zone.
