Russian-backed Forces Wound Ukrainian Soldier in Katerynivka
They attacked from mounted grenade launchers, small arms and sniper rifles
Russia’s armed formations opened fire on the positions of Ukrainian Joint Forces near the village of Katerynivka from mounted grenade launchers, small arms and sniper rifles, wounding one Ukrainian soldier, the headquarters of the Joint Forces Operation said in a report at 6 p.m. today.
One Ukrainian soldier was wounded in the attack.
“The enemy has violated the ceasefire once since the beginning of the day. In the area of responsibility of the North operational and tactical group, the armed formations of the Russian Federation fired at the positions of the Joint Forces near the village of Katerynivka from automatic mounted grenade launchers, automatic small arms and sniper weapons,” the report reads. “Joint Forces units gave an adequate response to hostile provocations. The losses of the enemy are being specified. The situation in the area of the Joint Forces Operation remains under control.”
