On Tuesday (Oct. 8), the armed formations of the Russian Federation and its mercenaries violated the ceasefire 17 times in Donbas.

“The enemy used 82 mm and 120 mm mortars banned under the Minsk agreements, grenade launchers of different systems and small arms to launch attacks on positions of the Joint Forces,” Ukraine’s Joint Forces Operations Headquarters stated.

In the eastern conflict zone, Russian-led forces attacked in the areas of Pisky, Opytne, Novotroitske, Vodiane, Novohryhorivka, Pyshchevyk, and Pavlopil.

In the northern conflict zone, they attacked in the areas of Travneve, Novoluhanske, Luhanske, Vilne, and Svitlodarsk.

No casualties among Ukrainian troops were reported over the past day.

Today, the armed formations of the Russian Federation and its mercenaries violated the ceasefire five more times.
