Ukraine’s National Police and Security Service are investigating a possible connection between recent cases of school poisonings in different regions of the country. This is according to Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman.
He stated that it is necessary to hold conversations with students and explain the danger of spraying gas. Yesterday, about 30 children were hospitalized in the city of Kharkiv, after being poisoned with an unidentified gas. Earlier, similar incidents occurred in Mykolaiv, Cherkasy, and Novomoskovsk.
“I would ask schools to strengthen security measures and explain that such actions are unacceptable. We must also pay attention to how it’s done: if it’s uncoordinated or if someone is starting to coordinate this between schools,” Groysman said.
