Troops to Withdaw from Petrivske

Russian-controlled militants have set up their own date for the disengagement on Saturday (Nov. 9) and have sent the relevant message to the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine

Ukraine is prepared for the withdrawal of forces from the contact line near the village of Petrivske.

The start of the withdrawal of troops is scheduled for Friday (Nov. 8) at noon, Chief of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Ruslan Khomchak said during a visit of Ukrainian government representatives and foreign ambassadors to Zolote, Ukrinform reported.

Russian-controlled militants have set up their own date for the disengagement on Saturday (Nov. 9) and have sent the relevant message to the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine.

The disengagement of forces in section #3, Petrivske, was delayed once due to combat activity, launched by militants specifically in the zone, where disengagement had been planned.
