Seven Medals for Ukraine in Diving, Sereda Youngest Champion
13-year-old Oleksii Sereda in the individual 10 meter platform has become the youngest European champion in diving history, beating the record set by Tom Daley in 2008

The Ukrainian national diving team won seven medals in the European Diving Championship, which took place in Kyiv.
The mixed duet team of Victoria Kesar and Stanislav Oliferchyk in 3 meter synchronized diving and Sofiia Lyskun also from the 3 meter platform took gold medals.
The final gold for Ukraine was won by 13-year-old Oleksii Sereda in the individual 10 meter platform. The athlete has become the youngest European champion in diving history.
“Oleksii Sereda UKR, winner of men’s 10m platform at the age of 13yrs and 7 months (3ms younger than Tom Daley was in 2008)!!!!,” LEN (European Swimming League) reported on Facebook.
Olena Fedorova and Oleh Kolodiy took silver in men’s and women’s 1-meter springboard, duet Oleksii Sereda and Oleg Serbin won the silver medal in synchronized diving from the 3 meter platform.
Duet Victoriya Kesar and Anna Pysmenska took bronze in 3 meter synchronized from the platform.
