Nariman Aliyev’s movie “Home” to be screened in the United Kingdom and Ireland

On April 23 the movie “Home” (Evge) by Crimean Tatar director Nariman Aliyev to be released online in the United Kingdom and Ireland. UATV reports this referring to the movie’s press-service in Facebook.

“The online-screenings by New Wave Films will support the British cinemas during pandemic”, – the message says.

They added in the press-service that the online-release of a kind is an example of a real culture diplomacy. Citizens of the United Kingdom and Ireland will have an opportunity to watch the movie “Home” in the web.

Nariman Aliyev’s movie “Home” tells a story of a Crimean Tatar man and his younger son who are trying to bring the body of the older brother, who was killed in eastern Ukraine back to the occupied Crimea. Film director and actor Akhtem Seitablayev played the leading role. The movie was released in Ukraine in May of 2019.
