Ukrainian film “Hadjibey Fortress” wins at Best Istanbul Film Festival

The film “Fortress Hajibey” became the best feature film at the Best Istanbul Film Festival.

UA informs this with reference to the Ukrainian State Film Agency.

The events in the film take place during the Russo-Turkish war on the territory of the Northern Black Sea coast. Cossack Andriy has to deliver important information to Istanbul but firstly he has to free the father of his Turkish beloved Fatima. Young people need to take a risk.

The director is Konstantin Konovalov, script writers – Yevhen Timoshenko and Konstantin Konovalov. The movie was produced by Odesa Film Studio with the support of the Ukrainian State Film Agency.

Earlier, the Ukrainian film “Deep Love” received 2 awards at the film festival in Poland.
