All NATO countries condemned the increased aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine
All 30 NATO countries condemned the intensification of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine. This was stated by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, informs UATV.
Blinken noted that at a meeting of the North Atlantic Council, the Alliance member states expressed concern about the accumulation of the Russian military presence near the borders of Ukraine. At the same time, according to him, Ukraine has shown real restraint against the background of Russian provocations.
“NATO allies fully support the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, and we call on Russia to de-escalate, stop aggressive provocations and comply with its international obligations,” said NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, in turn, called on the Russian Federation to respect the territorial integrity of Ukraine.
“We are still concerned about what we see. And therefore, we continue to monitor the situation and consult with our partners. We call on Russia to stop their provocations and ensure transparency of its actions near the borders with Ukraine. The territorial integrity of Ukraine should be respected. We have provided some support to Ukraine in the past and hope to continue it”, – said Lloyd Austin.
The level of threat in Ukraine from the status of a “possible” crisis to “potentially inevitable” was raised by the American command in Europe. However, the military forces of Ukraine and its partners are now in the best position, according to the US army.
