“British” strain of coronavirus confirmed in 125 countries – WHO
A new strain of coronavirus, which was first recorded in the UK, has already been found in 125 countries.
This is stated in the weekly epidemiological bulletin of the World Health Organization, Ukrinform notes.
According to the WHO, the “British” strain of coronavirus was fixed in 7 more countries last week.
The “South African” strain is found in 11 more countries, and in general – in 75.
A variant of the coronavirus, previously detected in Brazil and Japan, was recorded in 3 more countries, now it is confirmed in 41 countries.
Earlier, WHO predicted when the COVID-19 pandemic would end.
Moreover, WHO records a decrease in the incidence of influenza in the world.
