Poland is talking about Russia’s crimes, – Ambassador
Poland recognizes the fact of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, and in public statements of its representatives reminds the world community of this. Such a statement was made by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Poland to Ukraine Bartosz Cichocki, UATV reports.
“We are always talking about the occupation of Crimea by Russia as an international crime. We are not ashamed to talk about Russia’s aggression against Ukraine.
The ambassador noted Poland’s adherence to principles in assessing Russia’s aggression.
“We are the only NATO country that is a neighbor of both Ukraine and the closest neighbor of Russia. We know each other well, and we need to talk honestly and constructively. I am sure that we will not build a stable world in Europe against or without Russia. But with the policy that Russia is implementing today, no one will build anything”, – Cichocki said.
He added that Poland is ready for dialogue with Russia and insists on respect for international legislation, which the Russian side regularly neglects, although it gave written guarantees of its observance.
“And we are honestly talking about it. We are open to conversation. We will chair the OSCE next year. We are ready to talk with Russia.” – the diplomat detailed.
