Svitolina Holds 6th Place in WTA Rating
Ukrainian tennis player Elina Svitolina losts in the final of the WTA Tournament, but still holds the sixth place in rating
The Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) released its final ratings at the end of the tennis season today (Nov. 4).
Four Ukrainians remain in the top 100 rankings, BTU reported.
Ukraine’s “first racket,” tennis sensation Elina Svitolina, who reached the final at the Tournament in Shenzhen, finished her season in the top 10 for the third year in a row. She ends the season in the sixth position.
Fellow Ukrainian Diana Yastremska finished the season in 22nd place – a personal record for her.
Lesia Tsurenko, who hasn’t played in tournaments since the end of July because of an injury, finished the year in the 70th position, Katerina Kozlova finished in 89th place, and Katarina Zavatska in 110th.
Australian Ashleigh Barty currently leads the WTA rankings.
