Visa Free Travel Between Ukraine and North Macedonia Starts Working
Citizens of Ukraine and North Macedonia will be able to travel with biometric passports for up to 90 days
Visa free travel between Ukraine and North Macedonia is effective from Sunday (Dec. 22).
“Travelling to North Macedonia without visas is now on an ongoing basis: both short- and long-term (immigration) visas have been canceled,” State Secretary of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Andriy Zayats posted on Twitter.
The agreement provides for liberalization of travel rules for citizens of North Macedonia and Ukraine without visas if the duration of their stay does not exceed 90 days for each 180-day period.
Ukrainian citizens with biometric passports can make tourist trips to the EU countries for up to 90 days no more than once every six months. EU visa-free travel was introduced from June 11, 2017, as part of the liberalization of the visa regime with the EU.
