Two Soldiers Wounded in Donbas

Two Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in shelling today in Donbas.
Russian-led militants opened fired twice on Ukrainian troops in the northern section of the combat zone, using sniper rifles near Luhanske and heavy machine guns in the area of Novotoshkivske, Ukraine’s Joint Forces Operation (JFO) wrote on Facebook.
On Sunday, the Russian occupation forces launched three attacks on Ukrainian troops, the JFO wrote.
While there were no casualties reported among Ukrainian troops Sunday, according to intelligence, two of the attacking militants were killed and one wounded.
The Russian-backed militants had used weapons banned by the Minsk agreements several times. They fired 38 120mm and 82mm mortars into Ukrainian troops. All the attacks were launched in the northern section of the combat zone. They used 82 mm mortars to fire on Ukrainian positions near Zolote-4, 82 mm mortars and small arms near Novoluhanske, and 120 mm and 82 mm mortars and weapons on infantry fighting vehicles outside Popasna, the JFO wrote.
