The Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has appealed to the social media giant Twitter to suspend the account of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Crimea, the Ukrainian Embassy to United Kingdom wrote on Twitter.
“We have sent (an) official complaint @TwitterSupport. It’s absolutely unacceptable to give so-called #Russia’s MFA in occupied #Crimea a blue tick! Russia illegally annexed Crimea, militarized it and commits gross violations of human rights. Twitter must block that account!”
A blue tick” signifies a valid account.
