Ukraine now has visa-free travel with 88 countries and simplified entry with more than 140 countries
Ukraine and Mongolia have agreed to a visa-free regime.
“We have signed an agreement allowing Ukrainian citizens to travel without visas to Mongolia. This agreement provides that Ukrainians can enter Mongolia without visas for 90 days within 180 days,” Ukrainian Ambassador to Poland Andriy Deshchytsia said after signing documents with the Mongolian Ambassador to Poland and Ukraine Bataa Nemekh today at the Ukrainian Embassy in Warsaw.
Ukraine now has visa-free travel with 88 countries and simplified entry with more than 140 countries, Deshchytsia said.
Nemekh said that annually about a thousand Ukrainians visit Mongolia for tourist purposes and for business trips. They mostly go to see the nature, nomads, the Gobi Desert, the vast plains, and the Altai Mountains.
The Mongolian government is also interested in cooperating with Ukraine in the agricultural and mechanical engineering fields.
A total of 160 Mongolian citizens of Mongolia now live in Ukraine, 110 of which are students, Nemekh said.
